The Story of Your Story
You write a story. You rewrite the story a few dozen or hundreds of times. You put the story into a box and then bury the box in the garden. You dig up the box after one month or more, during which time you write other stories. You remove the story from the box and put in your new stories. You rebury the box in the garden. You read the first story with fresh eyes, tweak words, sentences and paragraphs. You are proud of your story. But...
